    1. Thanks Kim! If you're ever in the mood for a southern vacation, we'd love to have you visit. Lots of relaxation to be had 'round these parts.

  4. Donna, it was thrilling to see you "with child" when we visited in the spring. You are so beautiful. It was not a real surprise to learn that the baby is a boy. I had a feeling, though I didn't know he would be so rowdy! I can see you and Andy as parents to a boy child. How lucky for this child that he is being born into a family with cats who have given themselves so selflessly as "practice" for the soon to become parents.

I have learned how to be a Grammie for girls, now there is a whole new territory to explore, though it is in the same country. I am very excited about the great happening.

    1. You're gonna be an excellent Grammie-for-a-boy, no doubt about it! Thanks for everything Marsha, I don't know how we'd have managed without all your support.

  5. Though the days are flying by, I am remembering the endless waiting all those years ago, especially when you chose to be 7 days late. It was winter,of course, and you were like a little furnace. You certainly have no need for a furnace so I hope the little guy isn't heating up your world too much.

I remember how gigantic I felt when I dressed for the outdoors, a lumbering bear I was. You look so comfy and elegant in your summer southern attire. (Though I know you don't feel it). Just remember that you ARE elegant.

You are doing a big and amazing thing. I know it happens all the time but I know that you are doing it thoughtfully, lovingly and deeply. That makes all the difference. I'm glad you have Andy by your side.

  11. Ash and I are so happy and excited for you guys. You are going to be amazing parents. I hope you are ready for how much FUN having a baby is because we had no shortage of folks pointing out the inevitable difficulties that come along with making a tiny human, and it's all true, but more than anything, it's fun!

  12. I am so excited for you! Having Dylan has been the best thing to ever happen to Paul and I. I can not begin to express the love and joy that you will be filled with! Little boys are wonderful and who knew boy toys would be so much fun to play with. The best advice I was given was from my mom and she said to enjoy every stage because it goes by so fast. It seems like yesterday that Paul and I were in your shoes now I am driving to middle school. Wishing you all the best.
